The Amazing Benefits Of NanoVi Technology: Optimizing Health And Reversing Cellular Damage With VP Rowena Gates

Have you ever wondered what’s happening inside your body as you age? Not just the wrinkles or the gray hair but at the deepest most fundamental level what’s breaking down. The truth is aging isn’t just about time. It’s about damage. One of the biggest drivers of that damage is something called oxidative stress. A process that quite literally disrupts the function of your body at the cellular level. What if we could do more than just slow down that damage? What if we could help the body repair itself at the level of proteins where the function begins?

Our guest is at the forefront of a completely different approach to health and longevity. Rowena Gates is a VP of the Eng3 Corporation. The company behind the NanoVi device, which is a technology designed to support the body’s natural ability to repair damage caused by oxidative stress. Not through drugs or supplements, but through bioenergetic signals that interact with water and protein structure in the body.

This is a conversation that sits right at the intersection of physics, biology and the future of medicine. What she’s describing could fundamentally change how we think about aging. Not as an inevitable decline, but something we can actively influence at its core. We’re diving into what oxidative stress is doing to your body, why protein function may be the key to health span and how a technology like NanoVi could reshape the way we approach recovery, performance, and longevity itself. This is a fascinating conversation with Rowena Gates. Let’s dive in.

Fully Alive: Unlocking the secrets to your healthier, happier, longer life - Zach Gurick | VP Rowena Gates | NanoVi

Rowena, thank you so much for being with us. You’re an amazing person. You’re so inspiring with the work you’re doing and have been doing for such a long time here. You’re making such a difference in people’s lives. Thank you so much for being with us. I’m excited to hear about this amazing technology that you’ve been a part of for many years now and are bringing to the world and the difference that it’s making and people’s lives. I’m excited to share that with our audience and to learn from you myself. Thanks for being with us.

The Entrepreneurial Journey Of Rowena Gates

It’s a pleasure to be here. I’m always curious. First of all, NanoVi is amazing and this technology is amazing. Your story and how you ended up where you are is also equally amazing. Could you share a little bit about what led you into this path? How did you end up being the CEO of this company? How did you end up where you are?

I fell into this path because I am a lifelong entrepreneur. Essentially, I’ve only done entrepreneurial ventures since 1995, which was internet-based and eCommerce, which was early. I sold a company and worked for them for a couple years. I was going to take some time out. I said that I would help my partner Hans Eng, who’s the CEO. He is the innovator of this technology.

Before he started to work on this technology, he was working in the health field. I helped him out with some things and I got hooked because it helped people. They’d call and say, “This is so beneficial.” I had lots of different health challenges. At that point, to help other people, I fell into it. I stayed in it because it’s so gratifying. At that point, we started to work together and he was laying the foundation for the innovation that became the NanoVi device.

You’ve been at this for a long time. In what year was NanoVi launched?

It was 2011, I believe. It’s been a long time ago and we’ve been building it ever since.

Let’s dive in to the NanoVi a little bit. It’s an amazing technology. We had your team here at Shell Point a couple months ago for our Health SpinExpo. Many of our residents and staff members got to try it out and use it. You sell them in clinics, personal homes and all over the place. Can you explain what exactly NanoVi is for those of us that have not heard of it before?

It is a device. It’s about the footprint of a small printer. A small relatively portable device. You inhale humidified air from the device. That humidity has been altered by the device in a way that influences the cellular water and cellular activities. We can get into more detail later. Essentially, it sets up a better environment in the cell for your body to do all the work it needs to do.

Something that’s so intriguing about this device is that it requires almost nothing of you. You just breathe. You hook up to it and breathe for fifteen minutes and it does all the work.

I use it while I’m working at my desk or if you’re meditating or even stationary exercise equipment. It’s easy to do with other things and people love that. That’s different than you not getting into a chamber of some sort. It’s easy that way. You’re just breathing in that. It’s deceptively simple in the way it works because we’re not adding substances. In general, we’re used to chemicals. We’re used to biochemistry in the body. This is based in biophysics because it influences an energy state in the cells that set up the proteins to function better. The proteins are doing all the work in the system. Every activity, every function of your body requires protein activity.

Every activity, every function of your body requires protein activity.

I love that anybody can use it because all of us breathe. It doesn’t matter your age or ability or stage of life. All of us can benefit from this and it’s so easy to use. It can be a very broad and widely far-reaching device that can have huge impacts.

It is fitting for your audience, because it’s used for high performance, both cognitive function and physical performance. It’s used for longevity, healthy aging and also for recovery for anybody that has recovery to be done. It can be chronic illness or anything else. The repair and regeneration in the body is all done by proteins. It’s the proteins that we help support to get their work done.

Let’s go ahead and get into the science behind this and the biology a little bit. Help us understand what’s happening. We know that oxidative stress disrupts protein function and leads to a lot of the challenges that we have as we go through life and as we age. This breathing in of this altered humid air reverses some of that. Can you explain how that works? How was the humidity altered by the NanoVi technology? What is this doing within our bodies?

You set me up for a very long conversation here. Let’s just start with the last part, what’s it doing in the body and how does that work. Later, we can get into how that is beneficial. People think of protein as something you eat and you do eat protein. You need protein in your diet. However, your body shreds that protein down into amino acids. It’s the amino acids in the body that it uses to function. That’s why getting the right proteins in means you have the right amino acids, which is important. Those are just a building block for what your body has to do.

The body strings the amino acids into a chain. It’s called a polypeptide chain. It doesn’t matter. That is the primary shape of a protein. In order people appreciate how fundamental that is, the reason you have DNA is to be the blueprint for the proteins. It’s very fundamental that these proteins get built. After they are formed, they have to fold into a very precise three-dimensional shape before they can function. That folding is so important that a couple years ago, it picked up a Nobel Prize for predicting the shape of the protein.

It’s fundamental. Eighty percent of medications are doing something with your proteins. Their inhibitors or accelerators or whatever it is, with proteins. It’s fundamental in the way everything works in the body. The proteins must fold or they won’t function if they misfold or they fold incorrectly. Your next launch pad there was with oxidative stress and that’s how you would get a misfolded protein or an unfolded protein. It collapses because it’s been damaged by oxidative stress. We can talk about oxidative stress later.

Those misfolded proteins are a liability. You’ll hear of them coming up with neurodegenerative diseases. For example, with Alzheimer’s. They’re implicated in any of that neurodegeneration because the last thing you need are misfolded proteins in the brain. They can be plaques and tangles and things. That’s just one of the downsides of it. The body, in general, is always folding. Proteins are folding and unfolding in. This is a constant dynamic process that is happening on the scale of trillions all the time.

That’s what builds us and makes us human. Hopefully, that’s made sense to get from the amino acid all the way to a folded protein that we need. There’s a piece missing, though. That is, that it’s not magic for the protein to just go from one shape to the other. It requires energy. It has to have energy to go from a chain of amino acids to a folded protein. Every protein is immersed in water in the cells. To give you an idea, it would be pretty common for a cell to have 5,000 or 10,000 proteins in it. These are small and they’re all over the place. They’re in all your cells everywhere. They’re ubiquitous and very small.

All of them are immersed in water. In cell biology, they understood that the proteins, in order to fold, had to be getting their energy from the water. The water supports the protein folding. At the beginning, I mentioned the environment in the cell. That’s the water. It has to be in a certain energetic state to support the protein folding process. That’s where we come in. Is this already too much? Does everybody need a break or can we keep going?

The Mechanism Of Ordered Water And Bioenergetics

We can keep going. We’re folding proteins that require energy. They’re in the water or immersed in water.

The nature of the water that supports the proteins is called ordered water. What that means is that the water molecules are packed together. There’s a layer. It only forms in layers on surfaces, but the proteins are very closely packed together compared to other water. When the energy transfers from the water to the protein, it’s called a transfer of entropy. It’s the shift between order and chaos. What happens is the water becomes more chaotic and the protein is more structured or ordered or folded into the 3D shape.

That happens all the time in the body. You need proteins constantly and each of them has to fold. The water must constantly be recharged and made to be ordered water again. That’s all known in cell biology. The way it happens is, there’s a specific reactive oxygen species. Which is a free radical that does the job of creating this ordered water. What that reactive oxygen species does is it emits a very specific wavelength. It’s specific to the electromagnetic spectrum. It’s a wavelength that can be absorbed by water.

If the water absorbs it and its energy, then that has to change the water. That’s how the body’s constantly producing. These reactive auctions species, which go ahead and create ordered water surrounding the proteins. They give the proteins the energy to fold. Our innovation was to take that wavelength and do it outside the body. Deliver it across humidity so that we could augment that process in the body.

The NanoVi device is supporting a natural process and the body decides what to do. It decides what repair and regeneration is needed and replacement of tissue because all of our tissue is also made of proteins. It’s things like collagen and elastin and things you would have heard of. The body does its own thing. Its wisdom takes care of what each person needs most. Sometimes, somebody will use the NanoVi and it won’t impact them the way they think it will because their body’s got a different agenda, essentially.

That’s an interesting aspect of it. There’s no contraindications. There’s no possibility for harm because we’re not overriding anything. That’s been our whole mission. It’s to assist people without overriding any of the body’s ability to heal itself. That fundamental belief that the body is designed to heal itself and capable of that. Basically, don’t get in the way.

We hear that a lot from many of our guests. That the body wants to heal. The body wants to heal itself. That’s how we’re created and that’s what’s natural. If there are things like this that can support that process or help clean something out so that the body can do that more freely and readily. It’s seen that that’s the case. This is amazing.

Fully Alive: Unlocking the secrets to your healthier, happier, longer life - Zach Gurick | VP Rowena Gates | NanoVi

To back up and try to put this together. You’ve done an amazing job explaining this. Basically, we’re augmenting this natural process by supporting that wavelength outside of the body within this humidified water. When we breathe that in, it’s creating more of that ordered water within our cells or in the cell layer. Is that right?

Correct. The key was that it had to be absorbed by water, so we did a lot of testing at a lab in Italy because this is a very complicated test. We could show that other wavelengths that were absorbed were even more powerful. We amped up our device. It’s not only that we keep the wavelength that the body naturally produces. It’s less than 1,300 nanometers, if anybody’s paying attention to that.

As a reference, red lights 600 to 700 nanometers, lasers. All of that doesn’t go above 1,000 nanometers or maybe some medical lasers are up around 1,100 nanometers. We’re in a different part of the electromagnetic spectrum. We’re up closer to 1,300 and way above that. Those wavelengths also were super powerful for creating the desired effect.

You’re shooting this wavelength into this. It almost looks like a little water bubbler.

That bubbler is just creating humidity. The humidity goes through these excitation chambers inside the device. It comes up the other end with this ordered water or the water molecules very closely packed together. When it hits the mucus membrane, there’s a transfer of energy across the water in the body.

That’s how it’s delivered. It transfers throughout the body. It’s not diffused or anything. One goes to the next. A little bit like that physics toy when you drop the ball at one end and the other end goes up. It’s a bit like that. It goes across the water molecules in the body. It hits the surfaces. It impacts the surfaces where the ordered water builds up.

I have heard about ordered water and seeing other places before, too. That some people are calling it like the fourth phase of water. You can even buy ordered water as well.

You can’t really. I wouldn’t buy that for this reason. I’m sure you can buy it, but you probably might want to reconsider. Ordered water only forms on surfaces. If you had a lot of surfaces like aloe gel or something, then that would have a lot more ordered water in it. With regular water, if it only forms on the surfaces, it’s the outside of the container. Essentially, it’s not much surface. What we’re doing is not storable. It can’t be stored and it can only be transferred. In fact, we only transferred over a fairly short distance because it would lose the state over if we tried to put a 16 foot canal on it or something.

It’s ordered for a short period of time. It gets into your body, transfers and then does its work there.

If you buy a bottle of it, it would be like they created hot water and then they sold it to you a week later. They could call it hot water. That is work by Gerald Pollack at the University of Washington, who’s been a wonderful friend to us for many years. It is called the fourth phase of water or EZ water. That EZ water is an exclusion zone because in the layer, the molecules are so closely packed together that everything else gets pushed out. It’s excluded and they call that Exclusion Zone. Again, it is only a thin layer. It’s not a bulk water that can be like that.

Combating Oxidative Stress At The Cellular Level

That’s super helpful to understand. Let’s talk about the benefits and maybe start with what causes our protein. You mentioned proteins being misfolded. How does oxidative stress and some of those physiological responses happen within our body? What’s causing that? How does this impact those?

It’s interesting that they call oxidative stress the oxygen irony. You can’t live with it forever and you can’t live without it for probably more than five minutes, typically. You can’t avoid it because your body is burning or using oxygen to create energy. When that happens, there’s oxidative damage and reactive oxygen species. The key there is to either avoid the damage or repair it as quickly as possible. I know you did a piece on molecular hydrogen.

You can’t live with oxidative stress forever and you can’t live without it. The key there is to either avoid the damage or repair it as quickly as possible.

If anybody reads that, molecular hydrogen is a very good antioxidant. It’s quite brilliant as an antioxidant. It prevents damage. It can’t repair any damage. All it can do is prevent it. You need to repair the damage as well. You want to prevent as much as you can and then repair it. All of the repair work is done by proteins. That’s where we come in. If we can help those proteins work better, then you get better repair, and then you do not suffer the damage from oxidative stress and the decline that we sometimes call aging. Which is an accumulation of that damage. You slow that down if you have better prevention and better repair.

That’s a huge area for us. With every chronic illness that’s related, somehow oxidative stress is implicated. Anything that’s chronic like chronic inflammation or any of the diseases. Reducing that is key. That’s all protein activities that we support. The NanoVi has been our claim to fame. It’s measurable. We can show that reduction in damage is pretty substantial from oxidation, but also if the damage was caused by key der chemicals. We’ve shown proteins recover dramatically better if they use the active Nanovi device and kit, instead of the sham or placebo device. That’s an important thing.

I would say that’s true of everything. You have to have evidence that it does what it says it does and it works. That’s a pretty extensive research study that was published in the international journal of molecular science. That is available. It’s an impressive article and the results are very impressive. They showed the NanoVi device, both preventing and repairing damage. When the proteins are pre-treated, with the NanoVi device, there’s also less damage for most types of damage when it pre-creates or it’s used afterwards. That’s what the authors concluded that it has both preventative and restorative impact.

I love that you guys have done those types of studies to show the before and after, to show the results and the impact. It’s so helpful because if someone’s exploring a technology like this, it’s probably easier to be skeptical. It’s a little bit hard to understand how this works and you can be like, “I’m just going to breed this in.” All of a sudden, something’s going to change and happen. I love that you’ve done the work and done these studies to show the true impact. As you said it’s measurable.

The way we work, the way NanoVi works is so unique. It doesn’t resonate automatically with people because it’s so unheard of that you would work that way. It becomes especially important for them to know that it does work. They don’t understand every detail of how it works. They need to know for sure that it does work and then experience the benefit of it. We do have a lot of studies and we’re doing some stuff that’s exciting. I want to mention a couple things. One, I love brain stuff. One of those studies shows the Improvement in the oxygen flow in the front of the brain and also in oxygen utilization in the prefrontal cortex.

That’s a big processing power. If you utilize oxygen better, you’re firing better. Add to that benefit, the idea that while you’re doing all this, you also have better repair. If your brain is burning oxygen, you’re doing oxidative damage in the brain. When you layer on that you can also repair that damage faster better, then you have a very powerful cognitive tool preventing cognitive decline. That’s one of the areas where we get a lot of sales. It’s an executive function. Often, its executives and people that are using their brains. It’s easy to notice that you have better focus and you have more endurance.

The brain function is an interesting one. I am very happy that we’re doing more testing in that area. We’re building it out. Related to that, the same study was done for 30 days of daily use. The improvements weren’t just cognitive function. They call it DAS. They’re looking at depression, anxiety and stress. Those were profound results within a month as was sleep, and sleep disruptions and so on in self-reported study there. Those are all good things to support the brain and they also support the body. That’s another big area of use for us. People for physical function and performance as well as regeneration for whatever is needed.

Improving Performance And Cognitive Function

Let’s talk about maybe some more of the benefits that people experience. I know there’s testing to show to things like VO2 Max can be improved after one 15 minute session. It’s 7% that improves, right?

Almost 8%. It’s 7.8%. That’s something I should have mentioned up front, was energy because that’s what people notice. They notice that more energy. We don’t need to get into the mitochondria in detail. However, for the mitochondria, to produce energy, it’s the electron transport chain. It’s all protein functions. It’s complex is a protein. It’s all protein functions to make energy and also repair the damage where it’s located, which is the mitochondria. Energy is a huge factor and that’s why people notice better endurance like cognitive endurance. It’s often used with brain training neurofeedback because people perform better and they have more endurance.

How many sessions or how long are the effects? How durable are they? I know usually most people are using it three times a week or every day. What are some of the impacts based on some of the studies? You mentioned 30 days every day, but I don’t think that’s as common. It’s usually more spread out.

We have both and we’ve had clinical results two times a week.

As little as two times a week.

However, people that get their own device will use it daily or 5-6 days a week or something. They’re going to use the thing, typically. That’s ideal because it doesn’t work if you don’t use it. That’s the goal. That’s one thing I love about what you’re doing. In a shared environment, then many people could use the same device. That’s an advantage and it also makes it very cost-effective. Although, if it’s used in a family, compared to alternative costs that are ongoing. It can work out to be pretty affordable if multiple people are using it within a family.

You can notice the results right away after one session.

Most people do, but not everybody. It depends on how tuned in the person is. One thing that’s very obvious is with people that are low and blood oxygen saturation. They might not have a color that’s a bit gray or pale. They turn pink. I’ve had that happen and have the person sit there and say, “I don’t feel any different,” because they’re not tuned into that. One factor is how tuned in people are, and then the other is their condition.

People that are further off of ideal may notice it more readily. However, it was interesting with VO2 Max testing. It was surprising to me. The people that were closer to the ideal, like the more trained the people were doing the testing, the better the results were and I could not believe that. However, the head of the testing company said, “It does make sense because they’re just better able to utilize what you’re doing. They’re already pretty tuned up. When you layer on the NanoVi, then the body can take advantage of it if it’s already in decent shape.”

Fully Alive: Unlocking the secrets to your healthier, happier, longer life - Zach Gurick | VP Rowena Gates | NanoVi

If someone’s reading and is a high performing athlete or is trying to improve their times in their Iron Man or marathons or things like that.

There’s a huge difference. We’ve shown, especially for those printers and people like that. Double blind placebo-controlled study done at a Sports Science Center at a university showed that pretreatment with NanoVi and an all-out exercise test resulted in 17% less blood lactate. It was a well done crossover study. That’s against a placebo device. The same athlete against the placebo device.

That group also showed better immune response. They kicked in their recovery faster. There were a number of markers for that range between about 10% and 17% more in the act of the NanoVi device than placebo device. That’s also substantial and that’s why athletes use it to recover faster. They can go out and train harder and who knows what they’re going to do.

I imagine too, if you use this before your workout or before you’re on a long run or something. You’re going to perform better in that run and then recover faster after that, for example. Are there some high-performance athletes that are doing this right before they go out to race or exercise?

I don’t have professional teams doing that at this point, but most of the professional athletes are using it for faster recovery. They’re doing it afterwards and better sleep. Some of them won’t travel without it because they need it for calming down after intense play so they can sleep. That’s another thing that’s been well studied. It’s balancing the autonomic nervous system. Your body is going to try to come back into balance if you give it a little help. With heart rate variability, there were dramatic reductions in the stress index. If you do that before sleep, you’re going to tease yourself up for sleep much better.

That makes a lot of sense then.

I love to see it right at the sidelines of the game or something, especially Hockey players. They take them a few minutes out or something, but we haven’t got that going yet. It’s hard to logistically given the routines they already have in place. Probably our longest standing professional athlete is Matt Boyd. He started the season for the Chicago Cubs. He’s a wonderful person. He used it before he was in the pros for recovery. It’s so fun to watch him and he’s now 34. He’s got a vibrant professional career.

I can imagine this in locker rooms at halftime of NFL football games or things like that. It seems like everyone should be hooked up to one of these.

They should all have one. I don’t know what’s wrong with them. Our most famous NanoVi user of all times was Pope Francis. He had it for recovering from surgery, then used it after that. I don’t know what happened to the device. Pope Leo might have it or somebody’s probably wondering what the thing is at that point.

If you’re a high performing athlete or you just want to feel better and have more energy and more focus. If you’re an executive and you’re using a lot of brain power every day. All of us want to optimize and feel good and have the most energy. It’s far reaching and as you said, it allows the body to do what it naturally wants to do and clear some of the stuff that clogs us up out of the way.

Repair, Regeneration, And Chronic Health Challenges

A lot of that is repair work because I’ve talked about the fun stuff. The first eight years that NanoVi was available in the market, it was almost 100% chronic illness. A lot of toxicity support. A lot of Lyme disease. All the respiratory diseases. Diabetes is very measurable because people are measuring themself every day. They can see what their blood glucose does. We had a lot of traction there. It’s just that it was hard for us to talk about that because it was medical claims.

We don’t study it for specific diseases. We have lots of evidence to show it does work in the body for things that relate to diseases. VO2 Max is the biggest indicator of biological age and the biggest indicator of all-cause mortality. VO2 Max is a good one, but that’s not the same thing as measuring heart health. I do want to mention that our regeneration is especially important to people who have chronic illness. We have a tremendous amount of experience. With that, we just don’t have it out there publicly.

You have to be careful about what claims you make.

Yes.

When we’ve talked previously, you mentioned that you have at least reviews and anecdotal stories of over 50 different chronic illnesses having some impact from utilizing an NanoVi, right?

You have a good memory and you’re not even using NanoVi, but that’s true. I think I counted 55 at one time. It’s always a matter of too much damage and not enough repair. When that happens, we call it oxidative stress damage. Whatever you can do to reduce that, that’s your key to longevity and getting up getting cells functioning well. You did an interesting piece with somebody on toxicity.

Dr. Neil Nathan, yes.

That one, you’ve got to get the bad stuff out of there. All angles are important. Let the cell do its thing after that.

Anybody reading this is going to benefit significantly, whether someone is battling a chronic illness, because as we go through life, as we mentioned, this builds up. Those misfolded proteins are having too much damage. It eventually builds up and that’s what we call aging. In a way, you’re slowing or stopping or reversing some of the symptoms of aging or the damage caused by aging.

We already know there’s lots of things you could do like good breathing techniques or good food or good hydration. To me, you want to put all these things together to support the body to do all the work and not override it.

Only by breathing in. We’ve had other guests, too. I’m curious about stacking this with other things or replacing other therapies or modalities. What are some things that you’ve seen or ways that you would stack this together with other therapies or modalities? Maybe like red light therapy, for example, or hydrogen. You mentioned molecular hydrogen. What are some of the ways we could stack this together with other treatments?

You mentioned some that are common and we have it stacked with so many things like exosomes, stem cells, and peptides are all things that are interventions PMF and red light is common. Hyperbaric is key to do them both, in my opinion. You can get better uptake of the oxygen. We can show the utilization of oxygen in the body and the brain. Why not the hyperbaric adds more. You also want to utilize it better. There’s oxidative damage so you want to repair it better. That’s the case for hyperbaric oxygen or EWOT exercise with oxygen therapy, which is a great intervention.

Also, Cryotherapy. Cryo is kicking in cold shock proteins, which are proteins. Make them work better. Once you stir them up, help the body utilize them and work better. There’s probably many more that are obvious and I’m not thinking of at this very moment. We do have a lot of combined use. Obviously, exercise is one, which is another. Exercise is shown to be one of the most studied and most beneficial interventions there is. Do exercise.

Let’s start there.

That’s another one. They could combine it on stationary equipment which can be helpful to people that are getting more help as they go depending on a person’s condition. That’s a pretty good start on interventions.

I’m curious. You mentioned you use it at your desk. Are you using yours daily or do you use it more in the afternoon or evening?

Integrating NanoVi Into Your Daily Routine

I do it in the morning when I meditate, which is the first thing. Even if I’m tired, I do a session before I sleep because it’s essentially a measurable difference in sleep. Along those lines, we have done testing with a heart monitor showing that the stress index drops when a person hits about minutes 7 or 8, and people are pretty consistent. Seven or eight minutes in, the stress drops.

However, the parasympathetic index, which is your rest and digest, doesn’t start up until minute 13 or 14. My takeaway is, even if you can only do ten minutes, do that because you’ve got a big benefit. If you can do twenty minutes, do that because then you get the benefit of the parasympathetic building right before you go to sleep when you need to rest and digest.

When you get into that parasympathetic state, you can feel that. It’s something that you can feel.

That’s one of the things. Most of us are stressed. When you said most people can notice it right away. That’s what a lot of people are like, “I feel alert but calm,” or something along those lines. Some people are like, “I have a little buzz in my brain. Things are coming online.” A little bit more oxygen use in the brain. When a lot of us are chronically stressed, in the background, it’s a fairly anxious society we live in. Maybe not where you are. That seems pretty relaxed where you are. In the business world, and day to day life, a lot of people are just riding a certain level of stress.

A lot of us are chronically stressed; it’s a fairly anxious society we live in. In the business world, a lot of people are just riding a certain level of stress.

For sure. You’re using yours twice today. Have you been using it for fifteen years?

Ever since it was built. I will also throw it on during the day. Everybody should know this. I’m one of those people that are in the third inning of my life. What do you call it?

Maybe the third act.

I’m well into the third act here. I’m not quite 70, but I’m close and I can use more. It depends on what a person does, but even if you do a small amount every day, it’s going to be beneficial. You don’t need as much as I do, just saying. You’re fine. You’re good, but you should definitely have one.

For sure. I’m curious from your personal experience. Do you ever take days off or miss it? When you travel and then come back. Do you notice a big difference?

Yes. I didn’t notice it. I do a lot of traveling, so sometimes I’m gone and I might go ten days or more without using it. The one thing I noticed is that it’s not a good thing. When I’m gone for that long, I will notice the night is coming back, which is unpleasant. You don’t ever want to not have something and then have it returned. So far, it’s gone away again when I started using the device. I don’t like that.

I don’t like that it ever comes back and it always troubles me. That’s the one thing I noticed the most about not using it. It’s because I’m anxious about it. A lot of the time, I don’t notice. It is just part of my routine, and that’s how a lot of things that are good for us ought to be. You don’t notice your good food because you just do that.

You don’t notice your good food because you just do that. That’s how a lot of things that are good for us ought to be.

You notice if you eat bad food, then you don’t feel good. You notice your tonight and that’s something that’s very obvious.

The people that use it short-term, if they’re recovering from something like Alan Bauman. You had him on. He’s a wonderful human being. They have it for faster recovery. It’s also very good in acute stages after a treatment. In his case, it’s a hair transplant or hair intervention or it’s used stem cells that way as well. If you’re doing something fairly acute, especially if it’s expensive. Why not make it work better? That’s why centers like that will have it to help their clients even if the client doesn’t have their own. They’ll help them through those stages. We have another one where it’s a plastic surgeon doing tummy tucks. It gets them through that process better. It makes them a better surgeon.

There you go. You mentioned it’s noticeable with sleep and measurable. I imagine. Are you measuring your sleep scores and things like that?

I used to. I gave up on all the measurements at least because once I learned, I felt like I should be able to assess it for myself. I didn’t want to rely on a device to assess it for me. I want to develop my own ability to know what is going on in my own body. People can measure that. It’s a bit dicey with the different tools because they will give different results. I recommend if you’re using heart rate variability or sleep scores, then you should be looking over time. Not just at one score. I used it once and I had a great score and that will typically happen. Ideally, you want to look at it over a period of time.

Accessing And Utilizing NanoVi Technology

That makes a lot of sense. This is amazing. Where can people find this technology? How can they connect with you? Could you share how people could access a NanoVi and how they could potentially try one out somewhere or purchase one? What’s the process look like?

Our company name is Eng3.com. It can be helpful to fill in the forms on the page. We don’t ever spam people. If they fill in a form at that website, we will send out study results and only helpful information. It’s like this show. Things that are of interest. That will also give them the pricing and the ability if they wanted to go to a shopping cart to purchase it. We do have a return option. We don’t want anybody stuck with technology that’s not helpful to them.

We’re very confident in this and I don’t want to say we touch one and we never get them back. That is an option if people are interested to try it and make sure they like it. We are also as @Eng3Corp on Instagram and places like that, but Eng3.com is the main website and a lot of the information that people might be most interested in, we cannot publish online. With those study results, you have to sign in.

Opt-in for those, right?

Yes.

Thank you for sharing that. I know there are different size, devices or different tiers of it so you can have the one that takes a little bit longer and there’s those that are a little bit shorter.

They’ve ranged between a little over $6,000 dollars to a little less than $14,000 dollars. It depends on that level. The one that’s expensive at $14,000, which is amazing. It’s the one we sell by far the most of. It has another set of those powerful wavelengths. It’s a different technology. The other two devices are more of the same technologies. That’s how they differentiate and they are up front investment for sure. It’s just that over time, this device is specked up to 40,000 sessions.

The minimum part for failure is 40,000 sessions. It’s a life-long device for most of us. Maybe not you but definitely for me. It’s one of these things that lasts a very long time. It’s just that it does have that higher initial cost. If people heard about it from you and this show, then they could mention that they heard of it from you. We always ask and then, we will provide a transportation case for the device at no additional cost.

That’s great.

It’s almost a $400 case. It’s an expensive customized case, but then you can take the NanoVi anywhere on the airplane overhead bin or check luggage.

Very nice. You don’t have to go for a long period of time without it. That’s great.

Correct. I shouldn’t be doing that and it’s a medical device. You can put it in either place as an extra carry on or as checked luggage with no cost. It’s registered as a medical device in all of Europe and the US.

Last question then. I’m just curious. What’s on the horizon? What do you see when you peer out 5 years from now or 10 years from now? What’s exciting to you in this space with NanoVi or just other technologies that you’re seeing and what’s coming?

The Future Of Community-Based Longevity

The most exciting thing to me is the idea and it’s been on my radar for a very long time and I see it coming along. Which is the idea of community and shared use of things for wellness, but also knowledge and other things. You use devices like this and maybe a red light bed or sauna or whatever they are, as places where people then convene and also have community health.

It’s probably fairly obvious to anyone reading that any retirement center is already doing that. It creates community. The next step is something I know you’re interested in, which is to now move it to that community health phase where we’re potentially reversing the indications of aging. We’re helping people stay vibrant longer.

That has a place not only in retirement communities, but in community centers or gyms or places where people can access and share technologies. What I’m passionate about is making it more accessible to people. They’re not going to buy all these things individually or one of them can be too expensive. However, sharing one is not.

That makes a ton of sense. Hopefully, it seems like that’s happening more and more. It’s certainly something that we’re excited about and working on here at Shell Point. I know there are many other places that have a shared vision of creating that type of a community health environment. I love that vision.

If that’s your church, call me.

It sounds good. Rowena, thank you so much for being with us. This is amazing. I love the work that you’re doing and the way you’re impacting so many people’s lives. I’m hopeful that many people will learn about this technology and take advantage of it for their own lives.

It’s a pleasure. It’s good to see you again. Thank you for having me here. Much appreciated.

Thanks, Rowena.

What a fascinating conversation and one that is truly meaningful and helpful in so many ways with Rowena. NanoVi technology is pretty amazing. All you have to do is breathe. You can stack this with so many other things, but then your proteins can fold appropriately. Reduces that oxidative damage which in turn reduces a lot of the effects of aging. What an amazing tool and device that can be available for all of us. There is an investment involved in it, but think about the long-term impacts of oxidative damage over many years. What if we can mitigate that? Which we can.

I love that this has science backed research that’s been done, that’s showing the benefits and improvements and things like VO2 Max up to 8% even just after one session. As well as 55 different chronic illnesses that had been impacted by utilizing the technology of the NanoVi. Check it out. You can find it at Eng3.com. As she mentioned, you can fill out the form there. They’ll provide the study results, the pricing and all of those components as well.

Hopefully, there are places near you where you could try this technology out, but you might have more benefit if you utilize it over time. I know there are a lot of clinics and other places that have these, but check it out and see what you can learn. Do a little deeper dive there. Also, we did mention something called EZ water. Gerald Pollack is the researcher that discovered that and talks about that as well. You can do a little deeper dive into the physiology that’s happening there. Thanks so much for tuning in to this episode with Rowena Gates from NanoVi.
