SHELL POINT RETIREMENT COMMUNITY DRIVER ON DEMAND APP TERMS OF USE

By accessing or using the Driver on Demand app, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy.

Service Description
Driver on Demand provides on-campus transportation for Shell Point residents and approved guests. Drivers are Shell Point employees or contracted drivers. Via Transportation provides the software platform only. Services are available to Shell Point residents and approved guests connected to a resident or campus function.

Account Responsibilities
You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information
  • Keep account credentials secure
  • Accept responsibility for activity under your account
  • Notify Shell Point of unauthorized use

Fees
Shell Point Driver on Demand on-campus rides are provided at no cost. Other transportation services may be billed to the resident’s Shell Point account.

Acceptable Use
You agree not to:

  • Violate laws
  • Harass drivers or passengers
  • Provide false information
  • Disrupt services
  • Damage vehicles or property
  • Attempt unauthorized system access

Shell Point may suspend or terminate service for violations.

Rider Safety
You agree to wear seatbelts when available, follow driver instructions, and treat others respectfully.

Accessibility
Shell Point provides accessible transportation consistent with ADA requirements. Accommodation needs should be communicated when booking.

Service Availability
Services are provided “as is.” Shell Point does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shell Point is not liable for indirect or consequential damages related to use of the service.

Termination
Shell Point may suspend or terminate access for violations. Users may stop using the app at any time.

Electronic Communications
By using the app, you consent to receive service-related electronic communications such as ride confirmations and updates.

Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Florida law.
