SHELL POINT DRIVER ON DEMAND APP PRIVACY POLICY

Shell Point Retirement Community (“Shell Point”) provides transportation services to residents through the Driver on Demand mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share personal information.

Technology Provider
Shell Point uses software provided by Via Transportation, Inc. (“Via”). Shell Point is the data controller. Via acts only as our service provider and processes information on Shell Point’s behalf.

Information We Collect
Information you provide:

  • Name
  • Email address and phone number
  • Pick-up and drop-off locations
  • Accessibility or mobility needs

Information collected automatically:

  • Location data during app use and rides
  • Device information (type and operating system)
  • App usage activity
  • Trip history

  • Match riders with drivers
  • Communicate ride updates and service notifications
  • Improve routing and service quality

  • Via Transportation and related technology providers
  • Other riders in shared trips (pickup or drop-off locations)
