FORT MYERS, Fla. (March 19, 2019) – Shell Point Retirement Community continues its 2018-2019 Fine and Performing Arts Series with a performance by Siberian Virtuosi at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 4 at The Village Church on The Island at Shell Point, 15100 Shell Point Blvd. in Fort Myers. Eleven violinists and a pianist comprise the award-winning Siberian Virtuosi, the State Ensemble of the Republic of Sakha. Acclaimed for their energy, unique arrangements and virtuosity, the ensemble has gained an increasing popularity in Russia and around the world since it was founded in 1994, winning numerous international awards in Russia, France, Italy and Hungary.
Siberian Virtuosi’s eclectic repertoire combines Bach, Tchaikovsky, Vivaldi with de Sarasate, Shor, Sibelius and many more. During this Shell Point concert event, guests will hear the Siberian Virtuosi’s masterful execution of well-known classical pieces and will enjoy music by special guests and featured clarinetist, Julian Milkis.
