FORT MYERS, Fla. (November 20, 2007) – The Spirit of the Gulf Chorus is scheduled to perform at Shell Point Retirement Community on Monday December 17 at 7:15 pm. Ted Yeatts, Program Coordinator for Shell Point, is pleased to welcome this entertaining group to the Village Church Auditorium at Shell Point during this holiday season.
Spirit of the Gulf Chorus performs songs that range from turn-of-the-century, to pop and Broadway. They feature quartets and soloists, and also perform holiday music to get the audience in a joyful mood. Spirit of the Gulf Chorus has consistently been a finalist in international competitions and was recently given the coveted audience-choice award, name them the “most entertaining chorus.”
“Throughout the year, Shell Point works to bring top performers into the community for our residents and the surrounding community,” said Yeatts. “This is the first year we have welcomed Spirit of the Gulf Chorus, and so far the reaction from the residents and community has been very positive.”
