“We are so happy to welcome back The Barbary Coast Dixieland Band because they are such a popular group,” said Dawn Boren, director of resident life for Shell Point Retirement Community. “Every time that we have had them at Shell Point, they have received excellent reviews and attendance. They always manage to get audience members toe-tapping to every song they play, and offer a vibrant energy that visitors can feel from the stage.”
The Barbary Coast Dixieland Band has been performing for 40 years, was elected into the Minnesota Music Hall of Fame, and rated among the finest Dixieland Bands in the country. The band has played everywhere from paddleboats in Mississippi to Nagasaki, Japan.
