FORT MYERS, Fla. (February 6, 2012) – The annual Shell Point Art Show and Sale is scheduled to take place on March 9, 10, and 11 inside the Social Center and the Resident Activity Center on The Island at Shell Point. The Resident Art Show Committee invites the public to view the artwork created by many of the talented artists who live in the retirement community at Shell Point. The show runs from 9am to 4pm on March 9 and 10, and then from noon to 3pm on March 11.
“The art show continues to offer unique and beautiful artwork that inspires and captivates its viewers,” said Suzanne Bennett, Shell Point resident and Art Show Coordinator. “We are pleased to invite the public and to offer a chance to view and purchase original works of art created by talented Shell Point residents throughout the year.”
This year’s exhibit will feature: paintings, pottery, sculptures, stained glass, polished stonework, wood carvings, and unique jewelry, all created by Shell Point residents. Also, new this year, stunning photography by Shell Point residents will be available to view and purchase.
The 2012 Shell Point Art Show and Sale will be held inside the Social Center and the Resident Activity Center on The Island at Shell Point on March 9 and 10 from 9am to 4pm and on March 11 from noon to 3pm.
