Shell Point Retirement Community announces the new lineup for its 10th Annual Fine and Performing Arts Concert Series. This series will feature five concerts in the Village Church auditorium located on The Island at Shell Point. The concerts, dates, and times are listed:
• Fly Me to The Moon with Connie Evingson and Charles Lazarus – Thursday, November 8, 2012 at 7:30pm
• Spanish Brass – Thursday, December 6, 2012 at 7:30pm
• The Diamonds with the Orlando Jazz Orchestra – Friday, February 8, 2013 at 7:30pm
• Naples Philharmonic Orchestra – Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 7:30pm
• Carpe Diem String Quartet – Thursday, April 4, 2013 at 7:30pm
“This is our tenth year offering the Fine and Performing Arts Concert Series, and we are so lucky to have had amazing performers in the past, and to continue to book excellent concerts for this series,” said Dawn Boren, director of resident life. “We really enjoy offering a variety of arts not only to our Shell Point residents, but to the residents throughout Southwest Florida. Our 2012-2013 Fine and Performing Arts Concert Series includes many performers who are sure to offer superb entertainment.”
Tickets for the concerts are $35 each, or a season ticket of all five concerts can be purchased for $125, offering a savings of $50. An additional ticket option is available which allows purchasers to pick three concerts out of the five for $90.
