Shell Point Retirement Community announces the new lineup for its 11th annual Fine & Performing Arts Concert Series. From instrumentalists and vocalists to solo acts and extravagant big bands, this series of five performances brings an exciting variety of entertainment to The Village Church auditorium located on The Island at Shell Point. Tickets go on sale September 6.
· Tenor Daniel Rodriguez – Thursday, Nov. 14 at 7:30 p.m.
· The Four Freshmen – Thursday, Dec. 19 at 7:30 p.m.
· Preservation Hall Jazz Band – Saturday, Jan. 4 at 7:30 p.m.
· Glenn Miller Orchestra – Tuesday, Feb. 4 at 7:30 p.m.
· Jim Curry “Take Me Home: A Tribute to the Music of John Denver” – Monday, March 17 at 7:30 p.m.

“This concert series has grown so much over the past 10 seasons. It has been such a wonderful opportunity not only for our residents at Shell Point, but also for the Southwest Florida community to enjoy the variety of arts and cultural choices right here,” said Dawn Boren, director of resident life. “Our 2013-2014 Fine and Performing Arts Concert Series is sure to be another success, with a wide range of performers who have equal parts artistic excellence and international acclaim.”
Tickets for the concerts are $35 each, or a season ticket of all five concerts can be purchased for $125, offering a savings of $50. An additional ticket option is available that allows purchasers to pick three concerts for $90.
