Shell Point Retirement Community has announced its 2013-2104 Concerts & Conversations Series, which offers classical music lovers an opportunity to experience concerts in an intimate setting and enjoy a dessert reception with the musicians following the performance. Tickets go on sale September 6.
· Ars Nova String Trio – Thursday, Nov. 21 at 7 p.m.
· Bassoonist Shelley Monroe Huang – Thursday, Jan. 30 at 7 p.m.
· Washington Saxophone Quartet – Monday, March 3 at 7 p.m.
· Pianist Young-ah Tak – Monday, April 7 at 7 p.m.
“Guests love the Concerts & Conversations Series because they can ask questions and mingle with the artists after the concert,” said Director of Resident Life Dawn Boren.
