SHELL POINT ACADEMY OFFERS CLASS ON THE NATURE OF SOUTHWEST FLORIDA

FORT MYERS, Fla. (May 29, 2012)

Shell Point’s Academy of Lifelong Learning invites the public to attend a class presented by Charles Sobczak about the nature of Southwest Florida on July 11 at 9:00 am. This free presentation will take place in the Grand Cypress Room at The Woodlands in Shell Point Retirement Community; however space is very limited, so reservations are required to attend. To reserve your spot please call (239) 489-8472.

Sanibel Author Charles Sobczak has written and published three books about the natural paradise in Southwest Florida, highlighting alligators, sharks, panthers, wildlife on Sanibel Island, as well as wildlife on the gulf coast. All of his books are filled with wonderful photos and anecdotes which are presented in a serious, yet humorous manner. This presentation will be an hour of pure nature appreciation, and Sobczak’s books will be available for purchase after the class.

“As Floridians, we live in a paradise and have so many beautiful creatures and foliage around us, and we are so pleased that Charles will take us through this presentation to understand our natural neighbors,” said Teri Kollath, Manager of Academy and Volunteer Services. “This is the second time we have had Mr. Sobczak with us to speak, and we know that those who attend will love what he has to offer.”
