FORT MYERS, Fla. (March 14, 2012) – The final concert in Shell Point’s 2011-2012 Season of Praise will take place on Easter Sunday, April 8, and will feature Classic Praise. This performance will take place at 6:15pm in the Village Church Auditorium on The Island at Shell Point.
“The Season of Praise has been another great success, and the responses we have received from residents and visitors alike have been overwhelmingly positive and we can’t wait to line up another great series for next year,” says Pastor Randy Woods, minister of worship and music for The Village Church. “Classic Praise is a perfect way to end this exciting season, and they will offer a very powerful and inspirational concert that is sure to express the joy of Easter.”
The Season of Praise Concert Series will conclude with a festive Easter Celebration presented by Classic Praise. The Classic Praise ensemble combines the musical artistry of Jerry Rogers (clarinet), Kathy Rodgers (cello), Verne Smith (vocal/organ), and Jeannie Smith (vocal/piano). This concert will feature music from the classical repertoire as well as beautiful arrangements of hymns and songs of faith – both old and new.
