More than 500 guests enjoyed an afternoon of fun, fashion, and philanthropy at “Wild About Style,” the tenth annual spring fashion show held at Shell Point Retirement Community. The event raised $16,300 to benefit Shell Point’s Memory Care Center. Located in the Larsen Pavilion, the Center serves Shell Point residents and members of the surrounding community who have memory loss and dementia from Alzheimer’s and other brain diseases.
Shell Point partnered with Bell Tower Shops to show off 70 of the newest spring and summer fashions from Saks Fifth Avenue, Brodeur Carvell, Talbots, Chicos, Cache, Draper’s and Damon’s, Patchington’s, Francesca’s, Trader Rick’s, and Eyetopian Optical.
Guests enjoyed a delicious lunch while previewing the beautiful fashions from Bell Tower Shops, which included a variety of spring and summer looks, cruise and resort styles, casual day and evening wear, plus updated looks for the office. In addition to the spring fashions displayed during the show, more than 130 door prizes lined the stage and were given away throughout the afternoon. Many members of the audience won gift certificates donated by the Salon and Spa at Shell Point, as well as numerous local businesses throughout the area. All fashion show guests received a gift bag filled with special items and discount coupons and enjoyed browsing a special boutique with jewelry, handbag, eyewear, and sandal vendors.
