Local Bank Unveils New Office Facility for On-Site Service to Residents and Employees in the Community
FORT MYERS, FL (December 3, 2009) – On Monday, November 30, FineMark National Bank and Trust held the Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at Shell Point Retirement Community to celebrate the completion of their newly renovated facility. As of June 15, FineMark Bank started offering on-site banking services to residents, employees, and the public at Shell Point Retirement Community.
FineMark completely renovated the old banking facility to modernize it and make it more accessible to clients. The $300,000 renovation included upgrading the interior décor and enlarging the lobby area so that it would be more inviting and spacious for banking clients. The interior designer, Connie Davidson from Robb & Stucky, created an “old Florida” feel by commissioning artist Christine Adele Moore to paint a mural depicting a Florida wetlands area as a focal point on one wall. This theme was also incorporated in the furnishings and finishes used throughout the bank’s new interior to create a resort-like atmosphere which utilized medium wood tones, combined with rattan and bamboo accents, and offset by cool contemporary furnishings and accessories.
In addition to the renovation of the facility’s interior, FineMark added an ATM machine, which is located outside of the building, to offer clients the convenience of getting cash during busy business hours, or after hours.
Susan Chicone, who leads FineMark’s client service team at Shell Point, said “We are pleased with the results of the renovation of our office at Shell Point. We have created a comfortable, welcoming environment for residents who have become clients.”
The FineMark National Bank & Trust location at Shell Point offers a wide variety of banking services that include checking, savings, safe deposit boxes, CDs, and more. FineMark also offers Trust and Investment, and Brokerage Services to residents. “We have been extraordinarily pleased with the reception that we have received from residents and staff. Our new facility reflects our long term commitment to providing high touch service to all of our Shell Point clients,” said Chicone.
