Reiko is a native of Tokyo, Japan and attended the prestigious Tokyo University of Fine Arts and Music, where she received her bachelor’s degree in violin performance. Following her graduation, Reiko came to the United States and continued her training at the celebrated University Jacobs School of Music, where she studied under world renowned Italian violinist Franco Gulli.
In 1982 Reiko moved to Ft. Myers to begin her career as the Concert Master of the Southwest Florida Symphony. Reiko has served as concert master for six orchestras and became one of the most prominent freelance violinists in the county. Reiko and friends will present a concert of both classical and popular favorites.
