FORT MYERS, Fla. ( May 19, 2015)
Shell Point Retirement Community invites senior adults and their family members to better understand the many types of assisted living facilities and need-based care offered, during a free seminar held on Thursday, June 11, at 10 a.m. at The Springs.
During this educational presentation, Shell Point’s assisted living expert, McKenzie Millis, will simplify the search for assisted living by breaking down the many levels of assisted living care, types of facilities, and various licensures. Each presentation attendee will receive a comparative worksheet to use when exploring future assisted living options.
“Not knowing what to look for when choosing an assisted living community can be overwhelming. This search usually takes place during a medical crisis or other need-driven circumstance, which adds stress to a generally complicated process,” said Millis. “The goal for this presentation is to simplify this search and help attendees plan ahead for their future care.”
