At Shell Point, pets are loved and celebrated as part of community life. Each residence may have one dog or cat, and we’ve designed our campus to make life comfortable and enjoyable for pets and their people alike. Whether your companion is a loyal dog or a cat who rules the house, your furry family member is just as welcome here as you are. 

  • Most neighborhoods welcome dogs up to 20 pounds
  • The Estuary and The Enclave welcome dogs up to 55 pounds
  • Palm Acres welcomes dogs of all sizes
  • Cats are welcome throughout Shell Point

Our Pet Policies

To help ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all residents and their pets, pet owners are asked to provide information regarding veterinary care and required vaccinations. A one-time, non-refundable pet fee of $500 also applies. Your Sales Counselor will be happy to answer any questions and provide additional details about our pet-friendly policies.

Friendly Dog Park

Enjoy a dedicated space where dogs can run off-leash, play, and socialize to their heart’s content. It’s a favorite gathering spot for pet-loving residents because few things bring neighbors together quite like a happy dog.

Miles of Walking Trails

With waterfront promenades winding throughout campus, every day offers the perfect opportunity for a stroll. Whether you prefer a quiet path through nature or a scenic walk along the river, you’ll never run out of beautiful places to explore.

Special Outings & Events

Noah’s Bark is one of Shell Point’s most beloved traditions: a pontoon boat excursion that takes you and your dog to a secluded island for the ultimate day trip. It’s a reminder that the best adventures are always better together.
