Hurricane Beryl & Invest 96L

According to Shell Point Meteorologist Dave Roberts, Hurricane Beryl continues to move westerly, and none of the forecast models show the storm moving toward Southwest Florida or Shell Point. Beryl is not expected to impact our weather. Behind Beryl is Tropical Disturbance 96L. This will likely become a named tropical storm that will move along – or slightly north of – Beryl’s path and three days behind. We’ll be monitoring this system and will keep you updated. If 96L should impact Southwest Florida’s weather, it will likely be sometime around the week of July 8th.
