King’s Crown is an assisted living facility on The Island at Shell Point, featuring 120 private residences with full baths and kitchenettes. Admission is available to both Shell Point residents, as well as outside members of the community.

You can watch manatees at play in the lagoon, admire exotic orchids in the nearby orchid house, work in the Woodshop, meet a friend for lunch, enjoy a walk in the park, or attend an outdoor concert in this vibrant community.

Maintaining your good health is our priority. Recreational staff plan daily and weekly events that challenge residents to continue to grow socially, spiritually, educationally, physically, and emotionally. All of these efforts join in outlining a plan that will support your well being.
Things To Do
Residents enjoy a variety of special amenities, including a state-of-the-art media screening room, billiards room, beauty salon, activity and craft rooms and sun rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows. A full-time activities staff coordinates programs and activities for residents. The onsite fitness center offers supervised fitness classes.
Medical Center
Residents also enjoy the peace of mind that comes from knowing that a medical staff consisting of dedicated physicians, skilled in the practice of gerontological medicine, is on-site. King’s Crown provides daily personal care and assistance based on your medical needs — offering individuals or couples a higher quality of life through supportive services.
Delicious Dining
King’s Crown features an elegant dining room with panoramic views where residents enjoy delicious meals that are served three times a day, seven days a week. Residents and their guests enjoy restaurant-style dining service and select their meals from menus that change daily. There is also easy access to The Island Café and The Crystal dining room
